Stop & Shop Complaint - They just do not care about their customers, period.
STAMFORD, CONNECTICUT -- I bought a Snapple Diet Lemon Iced Tea and when I got it back to my desk and opened it, it spilled all over my clothes and papers. It looked like it was coming from the label and top of the bottle. When I went to the Stop & Shop website to complain, the notice there said it could take up to two weeks for a response. Meantime they have a new store manager who I didn't tell about the problem because he is not a very nice person and I have a feeling, does not take complaints seriously. I would watch out for this store. They completely lack any sense of courtesy or professionalism towards customers, and seem to keep trying to see what they can get away with in terms of pricing (ie putting wrong items next to labeled prices, or leaving the prices off of some items entirely..). Someone has to call them on this stuff, or they will keep doing it. After all, isn't it profitable and lucrative to "trick" customers into purchasing a higher priced item because it is not clear how much the items cost. Oh, and also, they have a security guard who, if for whatever reason he doesn't like you, will follow you down practically every aisle of the store. ABSOLUTELY DEPLORABLE OPERATION!! I only go there when I absolutely have to. Given the choice, I would always try to find another place first and suggest you all do the same. SEND THESE JERKS A MESSAGE.
