AON Incorporated Complaint - HP Extended Service Plan AON gives very poor service

Review by TwinkleZ on 2006-09-13
GOLDEN, COLORADO -- When my HP PSC2175 Printer stopped working, I contacted AON,Inc to provide the services that was promised in their extend service plan agreement. The initial call resulted in a lengthy wait time and a technician that caused me a full day of grief by having me change my configuation. Then I had to prove that I did not have a virus by connecting the printer to another PC. After that verification process, they promised to send a new printer in 5 to 7 days. After 10 days (and another long wait on the phone), they discovered the new printer was never ordered. When I asked them to expedite shipping, they refused telling me I had altered my 'case' when I checked their website regarding the progress on my case. When I argued with the young lady that it was not possible that I could edit their records from the website, she suggested it was a computer glitch. I spoke to a very rude supervisor who also refused to expedite the delivery. Not having a printer for a month has caused multiple problems for us. I quality company would have admitted their mistake and tried to make up for the problem. AON is a disorganized, sloppy company who makes you work to prove you really have a dead unit. Don't waste your time and money on an extended warrantee with them. HP should monitor this company!

While I agree HP should monitor this company I must point out if HP really cared about it they would never have "out sourced" the service in the first place. You should also put you post on this sight: http://www.epinions.com/pr-Hewlett_Packard_PSC_2175_Printer Good luck!
