Goldshield Complaint - Goldshield - Stay away from

Review by Larry5984 on 2006-09-20
GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA -- This started when Goldshield contacted me to tell me about their services. They gave me some referrals to check and make sure they back their services. I called the referrals and everything seemed ok, little did I know at the time, these were just people who worked for Goldshield. They played it as if they have been using Goldshield for a long time.

Well I was suckered into going with their services. I paid $1,700 for their program. At first they were very nice and provided good communication. The first week they sent me on five appointments. Each appointment I went on, the "lead" was mad at me. They said Goldshield was very rude on the phone and the specifically told Goldshield not to send anyone to their home. This was a huge was of my time.

I called Goldshield to let them know my dissatisfaction, at first it was hard to get a hold of them. Once I finally spoke with Michael at Goldshield.org. He gave me the run around. After that I didn't receive an appointment for three weeks. I called back and ask what was happening and Michael told me they didn't want to do business with me anymore. That was strange, but OK and I asked for my money back. He just laughed at me and said have fun trying to collect the money and hung up.

This is my experience. I have spoken with a couple of other people who used Goldshield and had the same results.

Larry, if you're looking for sympathy--you'll find it in the dictionary under 'S.' Anyone who can be 'suckered' into paying $1,700, should definitely use their dietary supplements that stimulate brain cells.

Thanks for the heads up. As an insurance agent I understand what you went through, obvioulsy Ponie doesn't understand the industry. I had a problem with a lead company myself and lost a lot more money than you did. Not saying your loss isn't big. Well I will make sure I stay away from that company and let my co-workers know that same.

I think you have a very good case to bring to the consumer protection area of your state's attorney general. I don't know where this company is located, but if local, you could also file a small claims case for fraudulent business practices. Good luck.

I had the same problem when my husband and I moved from utah to texas. I called the gym company and they gave me the run around. I complained to the Better Business Burea and the company said they were not going to do anything. so I called my prepaid legal lawyer and the lawyer sent them a letter threatning to sue and the gym company refunded my money, apologized and canceled my membership in good standing. If you need some help go to this website. www.prepaidlegal.com/hub/jasondickens

Re: Larry5984. Thanks for your heads up on Goldshield. I was about to send them some money for pre set appointments. Have you had any luck with any other companies in this field?
