Bell sympatico Complaint - Bell sympatico ripoff

Review by rogern on 2006-09-22
MISSISSAUGA -- I have just arrived back from New Zealand to find a $700 bill in my mail box from bell sympatico .The following are the facts
1) Before I left to New Zealand on a film shoot I called bell sympatico numerous times that the service wasn't operational.
2)I was given a ticket number a couple of times and told due to a strike of the bell technicians they would not be able to fix the service right away but I would not be charged for service (imagine not paying for a service I didn’t receive
3)Last time i was given a ticket number was by a gentleman named Darren (No last name was provided) and the number was 60539988
I was also advised in a very friendly tone that I am not going to be charged for the service ( again the one I wasn't receiving).
4)I advised Darren I was going to be in New Zealand to which he replied due to the strike nothing is going to transpire for a long time anyway.
5)I have come back to find a bill from bell sympatico for over $700
and am still being charged fro a service i still don’t have.

Bell sympatico sounds like Bell un-sympatico to me! I promise that if I ever move to Canada (Mississauga is in Ontario, isn't it?), I will not use Bell sympatico for my high speed internet needs! Good luck, eh?
