Alaska Airlines Compliment - Average Experience - Recent Flight
My wife, family friend and I recently flew on Alaska from Phoenix to Seattle. Overall, the experience was satisfactory. The last time I was on a plane was July 2000 and that was on Southwest which completly sucked. I hate their "cattle call" for their seats which flying Southwest for the first time I did not know about the "cattle call".
Anyways, back to Alaska, I found the plane to be somewhat small ? Again, I haven't been on a plane in six years but I don't remember the other planes ( American, TWA, United, Southwest ) to be small.
The flight attendants were very nice and answered any questions. To make a long story short I would have to say that the Frequent Flyer Miles are the best thing about flying Alaska. You definetly earn miles quicker with this airline as advertised.
I have only made one round trip on this airline and I already have over 5,000 miles and you can start cashing in at 15,000. Anyways, I will definetly fly this airline again and or their partner airlines such as American, Delta and there is another one that I can't think of at the moment but either way I will earn miles on any airline above on my Alaska miles plan.
If you are flying to the Northwest part of the United States Alaska is a must. Again, I haven't been on an airplane since 2000 so when I fly American and Delta I will have a better judgement of Alaska airlines as far as services, plane size etc.
Their website is easy to navigate and is very informative. They also seemed to have lower prices than the competition.
But Alaska so far so good !
