Progressive Auto Insurance Complaint - Progressive...Insurance you CAN'T turst.
KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE -- Progressive auto insurance does not care about the well being of their customers and will lie to get get out of paying to have your car repaired.
I was in a car accident August 2006. I ran off the road, into gravel, twice before loosing control and having my car spin into a guard rail. The accident didn't involve anyone else and I suffered no bodly damage. After I get my car semi-repaired from the body shop Progressive suggested, I have since had to take the car back 3 times for problems they didn't repair correctly (leaking trunk, door won't open...the list goes on and on). But now here's the Kicker...I also 3 bent rims on my car, bent so badly I cannot saftly drive my car. One insurance officer says Progressive's not responsible for fixing that damage that happened in the wreck because there was already "scuff marks" on the outside of the rims and to replace them (making my car driveable) would be "better-ment" making my car better now than before the wreck. I said I'd take re-furbished rims, they didn't have to be bran new, as long as they fit my car I would be satisified. NO response, they won't even comprimise. My case has now escalated and now that I'm talking to a manager, he says it's out of there hands because I didn't describe the problem with the rims clearly and in a certain amount of time. Saying that the damage is new and that is wasn't there when I picked up the car from the body shop originally...basically calling me a liar.
All you get is a run-around from Progressive and a headach. They don't care about you, your car or how low they they have to sink to get out of giving customers what they owe them...what the customer payed for.
