Adelphia Cable Informative - Truth or Consequences
PLYMOUTH, PENNSYLVANIA -- I had cable service with Adelphia. I had a situation where I had to work with their customer service team to resolve an issue. The customer service team members for Adelphia either did not know Adelphia's policy or they blatantly lied. As a result a serious problem developed that ended up costing me over $150.00 personally. I contacted the customer service office and even drove to a local office as directed by the customer service agent to get my $150.00 reimbursement. Again, they either did not know their company's policy or they lied, as the local office does not reimburse anyone for expenses created by customer service employee's errors. That can only be done by someone at the corporate office. I then contacted the CEO's office and began working with a wonderful woman at the office who helped me. She did what she said she would do. As a result of her efforts I was reimubursed the $150.00 that their error caused me. Would I use Adelphia Cable again? You bet I would, however, I just know that if I have any major customer service questions, not to rely on the word of their customer service agents. Also, when I did call their customer service line I would always ask the name of the person I was speaking with and their badge number. Then, I would contact the CEO's office and get my answer right from them to see if what I was being told was correct or not.
