BillPay 2000 Informative - Misrepresent services

Review by Deanese on 2006-10-04
CINCINNATI, OHIO -- This company leads you to believe that they will remove funds from you account to pay bills on a preapproved day. However they fail to tell you it requires the payment of a fee and then they take the funds out eight days before the approved date. Then when you have related fees as a result they refuse to refund them and you are left holding the bag and scrambling to recover finacially.

It even sounds like a scam to me. Why would anyone use something like this in the first place???

If you have a bank, or even better a credit union, you can set up bill pay on your own account, and have complete control over the transactions. Furthermore, most of the bill payment services used there, guarentee that if you submit a payment on time, and it arrives late, they will eat the charges and contact the payee to indicate it was not your fault.

I echo Lid, why would you use something like this in the first place?
