WASILLA, ALASKA -- My Firestone tires, on a new 2000 GMC 2500 truck have been a problem since day one and nobody wants to listen to me. I purchased winter tires with studs from Diversified Tire in Wasilla which were mounted on the stock wheels and the Firestone tires on new steel wheels form Diversified Tire. So now I am running back and forth trying to solve this problem, which shouldn't be my problem anyway. Firestone directed me to authorized dealers in Anchorage, Alaska Tire Service, American Tire & Auto. Alaska Tire Service claims no problem with the tires, the wheels are bent. I take the tires and wheels back to Diversified Tires, they replace one wheel and they are saying the wheels are good, the tires are bad. I took the tires and wheels to the GMC dealer in Wasilla where I purchased the truck and dropped them off next week, they will decide on whether to replace or not. Alaska Tire Service offered no written support. Diversified gave written support.
Please steer me in the right direction.
