E. Burnham Costmetic Company Complaint - E. Burnham Costmetic Company is a Scam

Review by Redrockarama on 2006-10-09
CENTERVILLE, UTAH -- I ordered a free containter of "Retional Ultra Skin Care Creme" from E. Burnham Costmetic Company. Shortly after receiving the "free" product, I received a duplicate of the "free" product, which I did not order. A few weeks later, I received a collection notice from "Retrieval Masters Creditors Bureau, Inc." demanding payment ($27.95) for the second container. What a scam! The product is substandard to begin with!!!

I had that happen to me with a free pair of pantyhose. I read and reread even the smallest print and found nothing that said you had to join or cancel, thus avoiding any problems. But I got the same type of bill you did but also got a box of several pairs of pantyhose that they were collecting for. It was the company itself tho,not a collection agency. I taped up the whole thing and sent it back with a thanks but no thanks letter. Did you see anything in small print that mentioned a charge or even just shipping and handling? If not, ask for proof that you were supposed to pay. If there was something you overlooked, since nothing is usually free you may owe. Also, did you use it all? If it wasn't any good maybe they have a return policy. Hope anyone of these suggestions will help.
