Sprint PCS Informative - Now's your chance to cancel your Sprint contract without any penalties!
For those of you unhappy with your Sprint service, here's your chance to get them back the only way that matters to them-cancel your contract with no cancellation fees! Sprint recently increased their text message fees to $0.15, which constitutes a material change to your contract. You have 30 days to cancel your contract with no penalty, change took effect Oct 1st so you have until Oct 31st to cancel. So all of you unhappy customers here's your chance, I would highly recommend dropping Sprint, it's the only way to really affect their horrible business practices. I cancelled my contract with them 4 months ago and was finally able to get them to refund me my money that was owed to me. I was lied to on numerous accounts (too many details to go into here, I have posted other complaints here about them) but just yesterday I was able to confirm that I will be getting my money, only after filing a complaint with the BBB. The CSR I spoke with yesterday told me my complaint had been closed for close to two weeks but that an executive from Sprint had reopened it and authorized my refund. When I asked why, she said she didn't know. I asked if it had anything to do with my BBB complaint and was told no, that wouldn't affect my account status. So apparently a Sprint executive, out of the goodness of his/her own heart took it upon himself/herself to look up my account and refund me the money owed to me for no other reason than he/she was bored that day!
