Verizon Wireless Informative - Very unhappy customer
MEMPHI, TENNESSEE -- I recently switched to Verizon from Nextel because of Nextel's extremely poor coverage area. I have only been with Verizon for two months and their billing is already messed up. They lost a payment I made and were going to look in to it.
They responded by cutting off my cell phone even though I provided them proof of payment from my bank bill payment on Oct. 9. Mysteriously the phone starts working and I check their website to find out that they finally did receive the bill 4 days ago, but still cut my phone off.
To make matters worse the customer service treated me like I was lying to them about the payment and were very offensive.
I am sure the companies get a lot of people who do not pay their bills, but come on...they need to do their homework.
Needless to say I will be switching phone companies this weekend.
