KaraokeStar.Com Complaint - Poor Product and Customer Service

My mother in law purchased two Karaoke machines for her children this Christmas. She was elated with the company, the price and the product and having been bitten by the bug decided to purchase a third unit for herself. She had her heart set on one more Vocapro Duet and called to place the order. With much anticipation she opened the box when it arrived to find...a lower value machine. She called in and found out that they would happily ship out the right unit and would send a call tag for the other. She explained that she lived in a rural area and needed the call tag to arrive prior to the delivery so that the carrier could pick it up. The tag and unit arrived on the same day while she was at work. She gleefully unpacked this unit to find that while it was indeed the correct make, it was defective and wouldn't play properly. Bitterly disappointed she called back to request that they simply give her the right model in full working order. They are forcing her to pay for the units that are wrong and broken and to pay for shipping as well. She is frustrated and we are at the point of sending ALL three back.
