SofaMart Complaint - poor quality merchandise
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO -- In April of 1999, we purchased a sectional and the problems began! Two weeks after it was delivered we began to notice signs of wearing and gapping holes would open up in seams for no apparent reason, exposing the stuffing. I called about it and they sent someone out who sewed up the seams and said that nothing could be done about the wearing of the fabric. I complained again and someone came out and sewed up more seams that had opened up but still would do nothing about the wearing material. Again I complained and they finally agreed to replace some of the fabric which involved taking the couch apart. After this was finally done our 1 year warranty had run out and I discovered that parts had been broken in the repair. We have had this sectional almost three years now and it has not held up nearly as well as the used furniture we have had in the past. I have had to repair seams and the wear continues.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
I would like it to be replaced with quality furniture.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
