Manny's TV and appliance store Complaint - Manny's TV and Appliance Store "We have to do better, we live here" slogan doesn't measure up!
WILBRAHAM, MASSACHUSETTS -- I purchased a Maytag washer and dryer set 8/04 from Manny's TV and Appliance Store in Wilbraham, MA, and by 12/04, I had the Manny's repairman out twice for repair! When I called Manny's and complained that I felt that I had been sold a "Lemon", they stated that I could take it up with Maytag. I called Maytag and they informed me that they do not replace an appliance if it can be fixed. I told them that two different problems, within the same month, and within 4 months of owning the dryer, told me that this one was a "Lemon". Got no where with Maytag or Manny's! Well, in the beginning of 8/06, Yup!, the dryer wasn't working again, I called Manny's and they sent out a repairman and $200.00 later it was working. (I called Maytag too and no help, warranty of one year was up). End of 8/06, same month, Dryer not working again, called again and Manny's repairment came out and wanted another $200.00 to fix different problem. I declined. I spoke with Manny's and was offered no help other than repair and cost. Spoke with Maytag, same thing. One just refers to the other. So, I went to Sears and bought a new Kenmore dryer.
I will never buy a Maytag, of which I thought was the best brand I could buy, nor will I ever shop at Manny's. They just passed the problem to the manufacturer. How about standing by the products that you sell? Your slogan; "We have to do better, we live her" is empty. I intend to tell everyone that I can, about my experience with Manny's TV and Appliance in Wilbraham, MA.
