SONORA, CALIFORNIA -- In April of 2006, I gave myself a pedicure, (I'm a cosmetolgist) when I applied the callous eliminator it began burn like fire, and opened my skin up to wher you could see clear to my tendon.

This is probably one of the shortest yet most effective reviews I have read here. You have convinced me 100% not to buy this product! Thanks, hope your foot is ok now, sounds awful.

All I can say is "ouch". Hope you have healed, and are feeling better.

Your tendon, really? Seems to me it would take some kind of acid to do that. Why did you wait 6 months to complain?

But you have to admit it DID remove the callous!

OUCH!!! I am speechless!!!

That burn stung worse than the callous eliminator, Hugh!

Lidman, it was probably more painful than your wax job!

Hope you sought medical treatment for this, then contacted the company on what sounds like a dangerous product. Thanks for the warning.

Also you should check the label it most likely has "HCL" in it and if the strength is to hi it will burn your hand off. It is an acid we use it in the machine we make to clean off deadly chemicals.

emt c: How are you? We use this chemical "HCL" in a highly concentrated form to clean the inside of our reactor. We run the temperature up to 1135 degrees Centigrade and inject the HCL in a gas form in the machine. I got a big breath of this stuff once and I must say it hurt worse then the wax job. OUCH!!!! First I couldn't breath, then it felt like someone hit me with a pipe repeatedly. Then it felt like my lungs were being burned out from the inside. I told you this so the poster could see how serious this stuff could be and because I am long winded. lol

Lidman, I am rockin'. Isn't HCL = hydrochloric acid? Why on earth would anybody put that in an OTC product? How are you, mean old man??

emt: I'm great, mean, But great! The thing that surprises me about HCL or hydrochloric acid is just how much it is used in so many different things. When you’re in the emergency room take a look at the different bottles and see.
