Stone Fish Grill Compliment - A Wonderful Experience

Review by missnicki13 on 2006-10-24
LARGO, MARYLAND -- From the time I entered Stonefish Grill, I felt welcome and at home. When I sat down my server gave me a warm and personal greeting and helped me to make an informed decision about which appetizers to order. So many things looked appealing that I tried three of them - the Crab Bread (delicious!), the Coconut Fried Shrimp and the Buffalo Catfish Fingers. They were all wonderful. For my entree, I had the Seafood Fettucine, it was a scrumptuous pasta with lots of shrimp, crab and scallops in a rich alfredo sauce. The portions were large so I couldn't finish all of my meal. However, I left room for dessert. I had the decadent Strawberry Shortcake, puff pastry, strawberries, ice cream and whipped cream. The service was excellent and top my experience off the owner/chef came over to personally welcome me and invite me to return. This establishment is sure to become one of my favorites! :)

I think someone else recently wrote they had a good experience at the Stonefish Grill. Glad you enjoyed your meal. It's nice to see compliments amongst nothing but complaints. Just one thing, now I want Strawberry Shortcake. I am so easily influenced when it comes to sweet treats!!! :]

Lidman, yes, I live in Virginia Beach, pretty 'coastie' wouldn't you say? I DO plan to take a trip up north here shortly, and, might try that, buy my dear husband just informed me we have a location within 10 miles. Whether he is correct or not, still remains to be seen. But, thank you very much, Lidman, for the info.
