Sheehy Nissan Glen Burnie Complaint - Recall on 2003 Altimas
GLEN BURNIE, MARYLAND -- On 10/24/06, I brought my car to Sheehy Nissan to have the recall done on my Altima. However, three days later my service engine light came on. I contacted Nissan service department and explained the issue that I was having with my car. I specifically explained to them that my light has never came on since I had the car, but some mysteriously way it's on after they performed the recall service. Therefore the service guy told me that I could bring my car to get looked at, but if it's not related to the recall I would have to pay for it. This really frustrated me because my light was not on when I brought the car to them. I even called Headquarters and spoke to consumer affairs regarding the issue, but one of the representatives told me they would look into it. The customer service skills that Nissan presents to the public is a big LIE, all they want is the money. In addition, before I received the recall notice in the mail, I brought my car to get looked at because my car had cut off on me three times while driving it. I was charged $100.00 for them to put my car on the diagnostic machine and was told nothing was wrong with the car. Therefore, when I received the recall notice in the mail, I phoned Nissan Headquarters to see if I could get reimbursed because I had the exact same problem that was stated in the notice. However, I was told no I couldn't get my money back because no repais were done. I am really mad and disappointed in the way customer service handles the customers.
