Qwest Complaint - If i ran my business like qwest.....
LOS LUNAS, NEW MEXICO -- This problem rolls back to over 2 years ago when I was requested to relocate to new mexico by my employer. I had contacted qwest to obtain telephone and high speed internet service and was told that it was not a problem and was scheduled for installation. ( to cut this short I will just say 3 telephone number assignments and 3 install dates later I was awarded a telephone line, however it was discovered at the install that they could not provide dsl at this time buy would be able to shortly )
Flash forward 2 years later to 09/29/2006 it was finally admitted to me that dsl would not be available to me for quite some time and it was suggested that I order ISDN service. I bit of reluctance on my part due to the cost of the equipment and configuration of my home office however, I agreed and an install date of 10/06/2006 was determined. I ordered and had express shipped the equipment necessary. On 10/05/2006, I received a telephone call from a Ms Sue Gonzales from qwest that due to technical difficulties they could not install the order until 11/09/2006. Today I was notified that they could not locate the “cards” they needed and it MIGHT be installed on 11/21/2006 but can not be sure. I again spoke with Sue Gonzales today and she is very polite but seems to have no authority
since 10/6/2006 I have been trying to operate a business on one telephone at the interface since the entire place was rewired to accept isdn.
I contacted our public regulator comission and as normal they really wont get involved in consumer issues.. wtf..
I guess I have to look at it this way.. Qwest makes too many election contributions and can do pretty much what they want and the consumer has no options
