Best Buy Complaint - Service Plan Misleading!!
33613 -- I bought a Gateway laptop from BB last year and have taken the computer to the store atleast 15 times in 15 months. They have replaced the motherboard 3 times, harddrive twice, wifi, battery..along with other things. When finally I asked them to switch computers, they did that. But to my surprise, they are trying to charge me $330 for extended warranty/service plan on the new exchanged computer, even though I had bought service plan for the old one and it still has 2 more years on it.
So, cuz of this exchange that I did not sign up for, I am losing $250 in service plan on my old comp and have to buy new service plan for $330. THIS IS NUTS!!!!
I AM NEVER SHOPPING AT BEST BUY AGAIN. MUCH RATHER GET A SERVICE PLAN FROM A #RD PARTY THAN DEAL WITH BEST BUY. THEY EVEN REFUSED TO LET ME SPEAK TO THE MANAGER>>I WAS THERE FOR 2 HOURS AND THEY KEPT GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND AND MAKING ME TALK TO FLOOR SALES/CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS RATHER THAN THE MANAGER.
I HAVE BOUGHT SO MANY THINGS FROM BB STORES>>>NEVER AGAIN!!!
