Wall Street Deli Complaint - You're Giving ME A Headache!

Review by 15910 on 2006-11-16
DENVER, COLORADO -- Usually I try to stick with the places that I know what to expect as far as the food quality goes. Today I gambled on the Wall Street Deli and lost big time. The sandwiches are pretty good but far from a real "deli style" sandwich. I went to the salad bar and loaded up on the veggies and the baked chicken for about seven bucks. Pretty hard to ruin a salad but the chicken was so greasy that it gave me an awful headache! It was seasoned pretty good on the outside but while baking it had to be swimming in grease the whole time. They have Franchises in thirteen states. Anyone else out there know of these places? Pro? Con?

Ugh, don't have one by me so can't help. Maybe someone else here knows more about chicken and food swimming in juices.

Our resident food critic seems to think that all there is to critique are chicken entrees`. I will give them this. (Wall Street Deli) They sell awful breakfast burritoes for $2.15. IF you want a slice of cheese they charge you an additional dollar. Brilliant.

Make your own lunch to take to work, okay?

I do Sherlock, but I didn't want tamales today, okay? What did you have for lunch? Hungryman? Vodka?

We went to a deli in Vegas called the Wall Street Deli but in was in a hotel so not sure it is affiliated. They had the best BLT's I have ever had though, awesome! Of course they also cost $15.00 with fries so it should have been great.

tamales? *tears* is that the best you can come up with? maybe it's you who should have the vodka!

One of the secretaries made some for me, pirate. I even made my own sauce for them. I don't think that they are affiliated, Amani. The have one in Indiana and Kentucky so maybe the pirate and the sheriff will give us an informative on the one up there.

Though I am visiting indiana over the holidays, I doubt i'll have time to visit a little sandwich shop. I may write a review on Ruth's Chris for you though.

It's not a little sandwich shop, dummie. We have a Ruth's out here. Why go to a steakhouse for a chicken dinner?

Lol, chicken little, is that what you'd do? No wonder you're not happy at the restaurants you pander at.
