John Harvards Brew House Compliment - Lost Pocket book

Review by epelan@aol.com on 2002-01-31
MANCHESTER, CONNECTICUT -- I was dining at the John Harvard's Brew House in Manchester, CT on January 20, 2002 and inadvertantly left my pocketbook at the restaurant. It was found by Sharon(waitress) who gave it to Kimmi(manager). When I called, I was told that Kimmi had my purse. The purse was returned to me completely intact

I would like if you could do the following:

I want to publicly thank Sharon and Kimmi for their honesty and integrity. They are valuable employees to your organization. We will definetly return to your restaurant.

Thank you for your time.

That was nice of you t write that letter. If it were me, I would make a special trip out there and say thanks personally! Honesty is a forgotten gift, best appreciated with a personal thank you.

Irene is right (hi Irene!). Perhaps even write a letter on paper, give it to the manager so that it can be posted for all customers to see.

I agree with the two other woman, I think the right thing for you to do is to write to the General Manager of the restaraunt, and I'm sure he will then post it and pass it on to the corporate office. These big companies like to hear this stuff and they get commended for it. I'm glad you got your bag back, it's a frightening thing to have misplaced.
