Audiovox Complaint - Bad service
HOOKSET, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- I bought an Audiovox FPE3205 LCD TV on March 2006, six months later it would intermittently start showing green screen images. The symptom has gotten progressively worse. When I called the Audiovox 800 number I had difficulty getting to talk to a person.I tried the website and was e-mailed back saying that I had to call the 800 number. After a lot of effort I got to talk to someone and was told they would create a service call to deal with my problem.
I received a call from the local repair company that would deal with the issue. I gave the tech all the necessary information and he said he'd order the part. After two weeks of not hearing from the Technician I called, he informed me that getting parts from the supplier did not look too promising. It seems the supplier has a long history of not caring.
I HIGHLY discourage anyone from buying an LCD TV from Audiovox.
