Jennifer Convertibles Inc Informative - Why do I have to do this?
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS -- Why on earth do I ( and many others) have to do this? We paid Jennifer Convertibles $1969 on July 25 (which they immediately, of course, put through on our credit card) for two chairs and two footstools on July 25, 06. After two attempts to deliver them to their Portsmouth store from their "regional" Boston store, both times the pieces were damaged. We cancelled the order with their "regional manager" in Portsmouth on 10/1/06, who wrote on our original order in clear, black ink that the order was cancelled and that we would receive a full refund within 7-10 days. It has been two months of phone calls and emails (all on my part, they have never called back and sent the exact same response email 3 times) with the complete and full stall. This is criminal. We are now forced to go to court to force these shysters to pay what they promised two months ago. Why do I have to do this?
