Sears Compliment - Great portraits, friendly employees - A++++
I took my two - year - old son to our local Sears (Cape Cod, MA) to have his holiday portraits taken. We scheduled our appointment for 9:30 AM, and arrived about 15 minutes early. A very friendly employee was there to greet us, and entertained my son by putting on a tv show and giving him toys while I filled out the necessary forms. Now, I have heard other reviewers complain that Sears is bad because the photographers were unable to make their crying children happy. IMO, that makes no sense - does that mean when a child is screaming and crying and his mother can't cheer him up, she's no longer a good parent? Anyway, being a typical two - year - old, my son became anxious and stubborn during our session. The photographer seemed to be a natural with kids, and worked until she found a way to cheer him up. And, when she couldn't make him laugh (he had a 5 minute crying spell), she somehow made the pictures in which he was frowning look more like a smile. She really had the magic touch. We ended up with some absolutely gorgeous prints at a fair price. Unlike other studios, the employees didn't push me into buying the most expensive package. I will definitely return in the future to have my son's pictures taken. Great job, Sears!
