Verizon Complaint - Verizon WORSE than Politicians!!
83001, WYOMING -- I've been with Verizon for over 3 years.
Over 6 months ago I referred a friend, who had been with Spring for many years and convinced him to switch to Verizon, I was supposed to get a $25 credit on my account for the referral. As of today both he and I have spoken to several customer service reps at least 3 times each; every time they told me the credit would be on my next bill. Today I called again and now they tell me there is no evidence of that credit ever being requested. To access my friend's account I was asked for his SSN which I obviously don't have. I asked to speak to a manager, they wouldn't let me, but the rep I spoke to told me he spoke to a manager and she couldn't do anything about it. Now I'm sitting with a referral promise of $25 and no credit. None of the reps I spoke to in the past left any info on my account regarding this and every time I call I have to repeat myself. This time I was on the phone for 27 minutes with negative results.
It's incredible how this billionaire companies spend ridiculous amount of money every year in advertising to attract new customer but don't spend a penny to keep those they have.
My next step is to complain to the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Communication Commission, at this point is not even for the money anymore (my time is worth more than they stupid $25) but as a matter of principle.
VERIZON IS A LIAR. By complaining to the above entities it affects their overall rating and I encourage anyone who has had problems with them and any other dishonest company to do the same.
