Complaint - Poor Quality & Customer Service

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- I ordered 2 steins from for the goomsmen in my wedding. I had the option to personalize the steins with their name & the date of the wedding, which I did. Upon selectig the option to have the steins personalized a list of different font styles pops up allowing me to choose. I chose the one I liked & placed the order. I just received the steins today and thought they had forgotten to engrave them! Upon closer inspection I realize they did engrave them but you can not see the writing at all! I was horrified! The engraving is so light you can' tell it's there! So, I called them up to see if I could send them back to be re-engraved. The customer service woman was rude & said to bad, that's what you ordered & personalized items cannot be returned. Excuse me!!?? They have been in this business for awhile & can tell what works & what doesn't. They shouldn't even have offered the font I chose for the item I ordered since it doesn't show up. So basically I just wasted $70 & there is nothing I can do about it. I think that is horrible and they should be able to do something to fix this problem, but they won't. I will be telling everyone & anyone I know DO NOT SHOP AT WWW.WEDDINGCHANNELSTORE.COM!

I know this doesn't help you get your steins replaced. Depending on what was engraved (directly on glass, on a brass plate, etc.), you might be able to rub something into the engraved portion to make it stand out better.

TOTALLY AGREE!!!I ordered Digital Photo Frames advertised to be eligible for engraving so I selected that. Not only does the site not state that the frames are not engraved, a plate is sent (apparently separately), I did not receive the personalized plates. They REFUSE to accept returns even tho the frames are exactly like you would purchase anywhere off the shelf (the only reason I used the site in the first place was FOR the engraving -- if I only needed the frames, there are dozens of places I could have purchased same or better locally). To amplify the lack of customer service, we exchanged 7 emails before I gave up and in each one, I got same response -- "Personalized Items Cannot Be Returned", "Have a great day" -- completely ignored each question & answered something different. Bottom line - horrible service, cannot get refund or correct merchandise when THEY DO NOT SHIP WHAT WAS ORDERED.

I'd encourage anyone who sees this to NOT SHOP AT WEDDING CHANNEL STORE!!!
