MBNA Complaint - Horrendous, Rude, Condescending, Unhelpful
DALLAS, TEXAS -- Oh boy here we go again with Platinum Plus and their favorite thing to do to my accounts at work, screw them all up! We have three accounts with MBNA, we used to have four but our CEO was so disgusted with his account always being screwed up that he got another account with another credit card company. At least once a month, sometimes more, I have to call them and tell them that once again, they have posted the WRONG payment to the WRONG account. They are the stupidest people on the planet.
So, I called today because they send these blank checks for our accounts. Three blank checks for each account. If these checks did not end up in my hands and be destroyed, anyone from any office in our building could cash these checks and steal our money. When I called I got "Julie" No Last Name because of course MBNA's first rule is to be as rude as possible to their customers. She did not help me. She gave me a fax number. So then I asked her to check our accounts and make sure they were all current, and she says a check which cleared OUR bank on October 16 has now been posted as an NSF as of December 8th. I asked her how is this possible and she says "Well I do't know! I'm not the one who posted your payment! Fax your information to another number."
I've been in accounting for a long damn time and I've never known a check to bounce two months after it's already cleared. But hey, MBNA has found a way to do that so they CAN CHARGE MORE FEES AND BE EVEN RUDER TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!
I HATE MBNA with a passion. I am NOT afraid to put my name on this form because I have nothing to be ashamed of but MBNA doesn't give their names because they are the rudest people on earth.
