Complaint - Unauthorized bank transaction

Review by velvet on 2006-12-14
NOTTINGHAM -- This company that I have never heard of before did an unauthorized transaction in my account. That has happen to put me in the negative about $70. I did apply for an online pay day loan and I was denied, which is fine but I did not authorize this company to take my information and assume that I wanted a pre paid credit card. Nobody wants to do anything about this and its irritating.

Don't give your banking info out online and you wouldn't have to worry about someone taking money from your account.

Secretcashcard was responsible for two unauthorized transactions in the amount of $49.95 each. This overdrew my bank account, which caused a credit card payment in the amount of $950.00 to be returned NSF five days before Christmas. I had never even heard of secretcashcard until this incident. For the past two days I have been going back and forth with this company regarding a refund. At first they tried to tell me that I authorized these transactions when I applied for the cash advance, but I was persaistent, and finally got them to say that they would give me a refund. They conveniently overlooked the fact that they charged my account twice and told me they would send a refund in the amount of $49.95 via US mail. At the present time, I'm waiting for confirmation on a refund for the other $49.95. The interesting thing about this is that every time I search the internet for secertcashcard, I find a new complaint from someone claiming that this company has done the same thing to them.
