Cingular Wireless Complaint - Crappy service and reception
I was a Cingular customer for over 4 years in Southern California. I recently moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ and found that I could not complete most calls, and those I did complete had very poor voice quality.
When I asked Cingular about cancelling my contract, they told me that, because I had recently upgraded my phone, that it would cost $150 to cancel. I only had 6 months left on the contract!!!!
The customer service person told me to read the fine print in the contract...it says that connection is not guaranteed! You pay for the hope to get connected!!!!
Do not get hooked up with a company like this if you don't live in downtown Los Angeles or an area with many repeaters!
