Dillard's Complaint - Horrible Customer Service
TEMPLE, TEXAS -- I recently visisted the Dillard's Juniors Dept. in Temple,TX and I received horrible customer service. The sales associate (Kathy- older, bitter, blonde female) was very rude. I merely wanted to do an exchange (not a refund) and she basically implicated that I had stolen the pants. When I suggested that if that were the case then there's always video surveillance on my side. Kathy actually had the odassity to tell me that "they didn't have that." Hmm...I wonder what kind of field day the community might have if they found out Dillard's didn't have any surveillance camera's, lol. I asked Kathy if I could speak with her manager and Kathy so kindly gave me "permission" to but I would have to find her manager myself. I guess Kathy had too many other issues to take care at the moment. Kathy did tell me that "she'd been there too long that day." When I asked Kathy what her name was, she covered her name tag up and proceeded to the break area. I found another sales associate (more than willing to help) to direct me to the customer service desk. Did I mention that he more than happy to tell me Kathy's name. When I got to the manager's office I explained my situation. When all was said and done the young lady had the nerve to say to me "And you didn't exchange any words with her?" Wait a minute? Am I the employee or the customer? That doesn't really sound like a question a manager should be asking a customer, does it? Sounds more like a question a Manager condoning the behavior would ask. Dillard's has really gone downhill.
