Office of Attorney General - State of Florida Complaint - Vonage Denail advertsied of Trial Period

Complaint
Review by Anonymous on 2006-12-18
I received a faulty product from Vonage. Upon their technical department deciding this was the case they sent me a new phone but when I asked about the trial period I was informed it was my fault to not call their customer service to inform them their technical department has diagnosed a hardware problem. I have spent hours on hold and hours speaking with customer service with all mangers unavailable and no managers call me back as I request.

To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:

I want vonage to cancel my account as advertised during a trial period with no charge. Any assistance the State Attorney can provide in engaing Vonage to correct a clear issue within their public corporation in terms of my acount would be great.

At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.

Your heading indicates you are complaining about the Florida State Attorney General. I does appear by reading it you are really having a problem with Vonage. Correct?

Why are you posting as Anonymous?

Are you really BGB(with a previous complaint)?

FYI, the site still retains the old feature of being able to write to a State Attorney's office. It's an option under "write a review" and the title does appear as you see it. It also was never updated to prevent posting anonymous. What I wonder is, since a lot has changed since, does these even really reach AG offices anymore. There would have to be a lot more info, including names, address etc, and they would have to be resubmitted via regular or email to an AG office. Non of this sounds like it's done anymore here.
