Pioneer North America Inc Informative - Returned so many times they gave me a newer version - AVIC-N1 Navigation/DVD/MP3 Player
AVIC-N1 Navigation/DVD/MP3 Player
I own a Pioneer head unit for my car. It allows me to do navigation, dvd, mp3, rear camera, and all of the crap that you could possibly want.
The device has a flip up monitor, so obviously there is a motor. The motor on my unit broke 4 times in the course of 6 months. Each time I had to send it back to the manufacturer and they would fix it and send it back. Two weeks later, the motor would break. I would have to send it back. After much complaining to the staff at Pioneer and Tweeter, I got Pioneer to replace the product with the AVIC-N3.
I wanted to know if anyone has had the same problems with the AVIC-N1 or if anyone has had similar experiences with the N3. This is a great product, considering the small fortune you pay. I would just like to know if I should expect similar problems with the N3?
