Colorloco Complaint - Customer Service - blendy pens

NEW JERSEY -- Buyer beware !!!!!

If you have intentions of getting Blendy Pens for a child as a gift make sure you buy them direct from the company. When you run into a problem with them the customer service department won't give you the time of day.

My child got a set as a gift and needless to say one of the blending chambers broke so I called the customer service department.
I was told that since they weren't purchased from them I would have to find out the place of purchase and they would have to notify the company. They would not deal with me.

What is that a company that doesn't honor their product unless they get them dirctly from them. I found that to be a little disturbing. I guess that i feel that as a consumer that it shouldn't matter where the product is purchased.

This company has its parent operation in Europe and I could see that they would not be too interested in doing much for an American consumer with a consumer related issue. That just is not right to be sure, but it is how some companies operate in our country these days.
