S-B Power Tool Company Informative - Sorry product ( skill cordless drills)

Review by Pyles on 2006-12-22
JEFFERSON, NORTH CAROLINA -- Christmas of 2004 I received a Skill 12 volt cordless drill as a Christmas present and within 5 months the battery got so that it wouldn't hold charge. I placed it in the back of my tool box to hold until I could get another battery. I forgot it until recently. When I did try to get a battery no tool dealers had one and when I did find someone who could order it, it cost more than a new drill and 2 batteries that I purchased from Harbor Freight Tools. Needless to say I refused to order the battery. I will buy no more Skill tools.

I had one of these a few years back. It wasn't strong enough to use for more than 5-10 minutes before the battery got too weak. Piece of junk.

I agree with emt c and I think most batteries for tool or what every cost more to replace then it does just to buy new tools or whatever. I purchased new when I need a battery for a tool or watch or whatever and give the old to charity. Marry Christmas to you and yours...
