I am writing in the hope that you will be able to address my complaint about my experience at VisionTek. This has caused me a great deal of frustration.
Here’s why I’m writing.
I purchased one of your 6564 Video boards at Best Buy day after Thanksgiving sale. I ordered it online on the 23 rd of Nov.....I received it on the 11th or 12th of Dec and sent out the rebate the next day. I included everything that was asked of me. I called Best Buy at their rebate # and they looked up my rebate on your website. They said my rebate was being processed and would ship to me around 3/21/02.
This is totally unacceptable. 4 months for a rebate are you people kidding? Your using my money for 4 months, this should be illegal. If I had know I would have to wait 4 months for my rebate I would have bought elsewhere and someone else’s card. I have purchased my last VisionTek product.
I’m not alone in my feelings and my thoughts are common among the computer bulletin boards. There are plenty of other manufactures producing good products out there that don’t pull these stunts.
I’ve been dissatisfied with your company in the past, so this doesn’t surprise me. You should know that I probably will not buy products from your company again. Also, I plan to tell my friends about this negative experience.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
Send out my rebate immediately. You ought to double it for making me and everyone else wait this long. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
