Ironwood Communications Complaint - Worst customer experience ever
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- DirecTV is a great product and has friendly customer service reps. Unfortunately their management has decided to allign themselves with the worst-managed company I have ever come in contact with.
I had been a satisified customer for over 3 years and had no TV outages until a windstorm knocked out my service. The most recent appointment was a week later, which I reluctantly accepted. The Ironwood person failed to show in the 1 - 5 pm window (which I came home from work for), but even until 9 pm that night said they were still coming. I finally went to bed a few hours later still without TV. How did they rectify this, you might ask? By giving me a new 4 hour window ALMOST 3 WEEKS LATER. I said this was unacceptable and I was cancelling, at which point they gave me an appointment for the next day. That morning a few hours into the appointment window I decided to call and make sure they were still coming. The rep then told me that I had the date wrong and my new appointment was actually a week later. Furious, I said I needed an appointment that day or I was cancelling and felt I had a strong case for them rearranging their schedule since it was only necessary because they failed to show up in the first place. Nope, there was nothing they can do. On to Comcast I go. They have a history of similar poor service, but nothing can compare to Ironwood. I encourage everyone to boycott DirecTV as long as they maintain their association with Ironwood.
