Phantomplate Complaint - Non delivery of product

Review by huey101 on 2006-12-24
I bought a can of photoblock spray (from Australia) four months ago. I've emailed them about five times, rung them two times and despite having proof of purchase and all documentation, they still haven't sent me the goods. They claim they are legitimate, but where is the proof?

Photo blocker spray, what is this stuff and are they saying they sent it?

This is copied from their US web page. 'A majority of red light & speed cameras utilize a strong flash to photograph the license plate on your car. Once sprayed on your license plate, PhotoBlocker’s special formula produces a high-powered gloss that reflects the flash back towards the camera. This overexposes the image of your license plate, rendering the picture unreadable. With PhotoBlocker, your license plate is invisible to traffic cameras yet completely legible to the naked eye.' There is also a caveat at the bottom of the page which states the product is illegal in some states.

That's BS, btw. I remember seeing a program on different ways to get away with having your pic taken while speeding and none of them worked.
