Basil Street Gallery Complaint - Bad customer service

I ordered a framed picture as a gift for Christmas. When opened it was not fully intact. Due to companies policies, which are to inform their Customer Service Department within 24 hours..I tried to email the company. Since it was many days/months after shipped, all emails came back, address failure. I paid $249 for this item.

If you paid for the framed picture with a credit card, file a dispute with your credit card issuer against the company you bought it from. If you paid by check, cash, or money order and the company won't respond to you, you're probably fuct!

How many months after you bought it was it opened? There is a 60 day return policy : http://www.basilstreet.com/custserv/customerservicemain.jsp?cid=3

That is what I was thinking Brenda. How many" many days/months" was it and was it days or months. If you bought it months ago, you really can't expect them to refund it now. I guess a lesson is that you should always open up packages as soon as they are received and inspect the contents.
