Phone Card Complaint - Phone card rip off

Review by mad mom on 2006-12-26
If you do not want to be ripped off PLEASE do not use the Phone Card company on the internet. I paid for 160 minutes and got 43 actual talk time. When I tried to email there customer service the site was not available. Also when I called customer service they did not have my pin number on file so they could not help me. How convenient.

I bought a phone card at Walmart once. It was for $10. The first time I used it I was at a pay phone and each minute was charged as two minutes because I was at a pay phone!! Scam by Walmart and probably all phone cards. Emergency, maybe OK but not on a regular basis.

You have to read the teeny-tiny microscopic print on the back of the card which indicates several circumstances where you will actually be charged more minutes per call then what you thought you paid for.

I completely agree with Noneill. All the phone cards charge extra for the use of a public phone. And every one of them says so.
