A Eastern Connection Inc. Complaint - Failure to deliver transportation service and terrible customer service

BAYVILLE, NEW YORK -- Contracted with this company 10/20/06 for delivery of van from Florida to California. Was told it would arrive in 10-14 days. Multiple phone calls resulted in a multitude of excuses and we were told that per the contract, they are not responsible for delivery in a reasonable amount of time. TWO MONTHS LATER, STILL NO VAN!

Where is the Van? Do they have it? Are they asking for more money? That is a common scam with cross-country movers. Once they have your stuff, you are at their mercy.

I have exact same experience. The only thing different is I ship my car from NJ to CA. They picked up my car on 12/18/06 and told me I will have my car no more than 2 weeks. Today is 2/6/2007 and my car is still sitting in NJ. I have called many times and the answer is always "you will have your car by next Friday". I am wondering if there is anything I can do to resolve this issue. Any suggestion?
