Marvel Complaint - Bad Spiderman Walkie Talkies

Review by vicalou on 2006-12-28
We bought a Spiderman walkie talkie set for Christmas and they had way too much static. I returned them and the 2nd set you could not hear a thing either. What a shame. I know they where tested at the factory and no one cared that none of them worked.

First of all, it's not Marvel's fault since they're probably not in the business of making walkie talkies. Check the package. They probably contracted out to some company that does. Second, what do you expect from cheap toy walkie talkies?

Some Marvel executive probably had to approve those pieces of junk. I'm sure they looked at the bottom line (profit) and just signed off.

They don't really check them, they just press the button and listen for a click.

Vic, they do sell "big boy" walkie talkies at Radio Shack. Anyway, what do superheroes like Spiderman need with a lousy walkie talkie?

Maybe you should contact Stan "The Man" Lee...

I'm sure that when he hears your story, he will reach into his pocket and give you a refund of the money you spent on those walkie-talkies!

Well they are cheap toys, if you want one with no static you should be willing to spend more money.

You can get those 2-mile FRS radios just about as cheap as kid's walkie talkies. Just stick some Spiderman stickers on them. I think you can get Spiderman stickers on the "web".

My son got the "dancing spiderman" tody from Santa for Christmas. It's a pretty decent quality toy, but I'm sure its life expectancy is about that of a neptune washer.

Dancing Spiderman? He's a SUPERHERO, not Fred Astaire you knucklehead! I wish I would buy my grandsons a toy like that.

AHhhhhh!!! "dancing spiderman tody" and you think the rainbow hood is a bad place to live?
Posted by Anonymous on 2006-12-28:
Sounds like he lives in a "rainbow household."

What does some prancing spiderman's life expectancy compared to a washing machine(?!?) have to do with this poster's walkie talkies?

Another deflection?
