Dominos Pizza Complaint - RUDE AND IGNORANT EMPLOYEES
BRANDON, MISSISSIPPI -- I ordered a pizza to be delivered at 4:45 today. I was told it would be an hour. The pizza was delivered on time. But it was cold. And guess what? The driver left the store without my Coke. I paid nearly 40 bucks for a meal and didn’t get my drink. I called the store. He told me that when the driver got back, he would send her back out with my drink. I waited patiently and thirsty for 30 minutes. No drink. Choking on my pizza. I called back. I asked for the manager. She is out of town.. I ask for the assistant manager. I get Issac. He tells me that the driver should be at my house soon with my drink. I asked has the driver come back to the store already to get the drink. He says no. So, I ask how could she be here soon if she has not even come back to the store to get the drink. I asked would I have to wait another hour. He says that I “shouldn’t” have to wait that long. I asked what would I get for my trouble? I should not have had to ask this question. A good manager would have suggested options for my trouble. He offered a credit for a large pizza. Now tell me why would I want a credit from a store that delivers cold pizza and does not provide the customer with their full order? And how did this kid that doesn’t know how to provide customer service get a job as a manager? I informed Issac that if my drink is not here within 20 minutes, that I would call my bank and cancel the transaction. He nastily replied “that’s your prerogative to do what you want to do”. He’s right about that. It is my prerogative. I plan on never going to Domino’s Pizza again. I also plan to send out notification to all 500 employees at my company that we are not to use Domino’s Pizza again to cater any events. I will also use this event as an example of how NOT to provide customer service when I speak at my annual customer service expo.
Deeply disgusted and disappointed.
