Levitz Furniture Corporation Complaint - How Levitz ruined the holidays.
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON -- After searching a lot of places, I finally found a dining room set both my husband and I liked in the right price range. On 12/6/06, the salesperson at their Tukwila store, "JP Forti", told me the table was in stock, and the chairs will be in on December 12. He even sold me the whole warranty/service contract on everything.
Well, here it is after the first of the year, and I've today I had my SEVENTH call to reschedule the chairs. This table has sat here doing nothing the entire time...my Holiday dinners had to be cancelled because there has been no place to sit and eat them at.
The customer service has thus been a run around.
We will be taking this table back and disputing the charge with our credit company before the 60 day allowed period elapses. If Levitz even thinks about charging me a 25% restocking fee then there will be a scene in that store, in front of their customers.
I do not have a problem taking a store credit for a set that is IN STOCK, but this is simply ridiculous.
