Winestuff.com Complaint - Complaint of Website
PENNSYLVANIA -- I ordered a wine holder from this Company a week before Xmas of 2006. I received a confirmation page with an order number and expected shipping and receiving date (12/23). About 2 days before Xmas I was tracking all my online purchases etc to make sure I knew when my items were arriving from all the different companies. I noticed I had nothing further sent to me on my purchase at winestuff.com. I called them to ask about the wine holder and was casually told she didn't have an order for me. She had my name, but nothing else and this is where she thought the conversation was now over. She had no intention of researching my issue or helping me!! I was then told to call back the next day when I checked with my bank to see if they charged me. I made the woman wait on hold while I did this online only to find out nothing had been charged to me. So then she just as casually said then apparently my order was on back order. I wanted more info and she told me rudely there was nothing she could tell me. I reminded her if it weren't FOR ME calling I never would have received the order and Xmas would have come and I would have looked foolish with no gift arriving. They never had any intention of calling me to tell me about this. Again I was offered NO apologies just essentially what can she do about this now? I wanted her to help me since it was just TWO days before Xmas and now anything would need to be expedited and she had nothing to offer (ie let me try to get one out to you expedited at no extra cost since we didn't hold up our end of the bargain....NOTHING!) When I wouldn't let her out of it, she told ME that she didn't have time to argue with me. IMAGINE THAT!
DO NOT waste your time or money with this horrible company because with that type of attitude, they won't be in business long and you will be left holding the bill with no item!!!
