DHL Complaint - DHL shiping and service
I had warranty parts send to me from the state of Washington on December 22 2006 to the Island of Curacao in the Caribbean.I chose to send them by courier (DHL was the only one available) so I would receive them ASAP and paid 60.00 dollars for this service.
To begin with my package went to the wrong country. It went to Brussels in Belgium, then managed to find it's way back down south to the wrong Island of St. Martin. Finally it went back to the United States, Ohio where it was re-routed to the correct destination. It arrived in Curacao on January 2nd 2007 where today January 5th it still sits. Today is exactly 2 weeks that the package left for Curacao. I am so , so very frustrated with this lousy service and extreme lack of interest. When I enquired about what they thought about refunding my hard earned money because of this error, I was directed to some other division where the mistake is apparently in a computer system. Wow, thank you so much.This really sooths my pain and certainly solves all my problems. As is, I still don't have my package and the local DHL office here in Curacao seems surprised that I am enquiring about my stuff since it is ONLY day before yesterday that it arrived.
Well...I will never,ever,ever use this piece of crap courier again in my life!!!. I have always used Federal express and also have had a package shipped to the wrong address BUT the way the local FedEx office handled the problem was fantastic. I know it is not the fault of the local DHL office but they do lack any kind of interest whatsoever to at least try to make some kind of extra effort so I can get my stuff.
What a lousy , crappy courier.Their service is terrible. I hope they loose all their clients so they will at least learn to appreciate the business someone entrusts them with.
