OnRebate.com Complaint - Rebate timeliness - Rebate service center

MIAMI, FLORIDA -- This company has consistently stonewalled rebates for various reasons that cannot be determined or corrected. Their FAQ page claims rebate return to be 8-10 weeks when requesting a check. I have NEVER received a rebate within this time period. The longest wait since rebate approval has been since 07/07/2006 and I still have not received the rebate. Their personnel only give lip service to one's requests for service and it is impossible to reach a supervisor under any condition.

Avoid doing business with any vendor which uses this clearing house for their rebates.
The vendor in this case is Tigerdirect.com. These people had a guaranteed rebate commitment that they had to drop because of the many complaints they received about onRebate problems. However, Tigerdirect.com still uses this clearing house for their rebates.

I have reported these problems to the BBB of southeast Florida and with the Internet Crime Complaint Center with no results coming from either agency!

Tigerdirect.com has just lost a good customer, forever.

Addendum: I received my rebate on 01/06/2007. One day shy of 6months from approval. 8-10 weeks my posterior!!!!

GOF, it sounds like you got a firm grasp of the situation. I'll certainly heed your advice and avoid all companies that use onrebate.com. Thanks!
