Best Western Greenbrier, Sevierville, TN Complaint - Rude Staff and Filthy Broken Rooms

Review by jakeq on 2007-01-07
SEVIERVILLE, TENNESSEE -- Without a doubt, the Best Western Greenbrier motel in Sevierville, Tennessee has got to one of the worst hospitality experiences I have ever had, and I travel extensively. First of all they lied, because they do not have wireless internet as advertised. The facility is very old and is badly in need of a complete renovation or better yet it should be torn down. The rooms were filthy, and equipment in the room did not work. The beds smelled of mildew and mold. The staff and manager do not have a clue as to how to run a hospitality business and are rude beyond belief.

I remember when franchises were inspected on a regular basis and if enough problems were noted that location lost the franchise. For those who travel on a frequent basis I expect you have a favorite chain you frequent whether it be convenience, price or many times obtaining a room at short notice. Best Western might not be at the top of this list but at one time an individual was at least assured a clean room.

We've had a number of complaints recently on some of this chains. Are inspections not made anymore at any of them?
