United Parcel Service Complaint - Poor customer service
ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO -- I understand weather delays shipments sometimes. I am VERY disappointed no one at the UPS Englewood, CO facility had an estimate of when they would be back on a regular delivery schedule due to severe Denver snow. DHL delivered packages to us timely, one on Dec. 28, 2006. The USPS is delivered our mail timely. Even the garbage people picked up. But no UPS package, and NO estimate of when we could reasonably expect delivery. What was being done to get caught up? UPS did not allow customers to go by the Englewood facility and pick up packages. Why is it when you experience a problem like this, no one at the UPS customer service unit had any information on what was being done to get caught up? Why didn’t UPS management put a process in place to keep customers informed about what was being done to get caught up? Bring in extra people, work longer hours, put more drivers on the street. Get us our packages for which we paid to have delivered in two days. UPS managers gave their employees in the customer service unit a poor process when it came to dealing with delays and answering customer questions. Inexcusable.
