Nature's Gate Informative - New Owners have changed the ingredients to chemicals.

Review by Vals on 2007-01-12
NEW HAMPSHIRE -- Nature's Gate company was recently sold in the past year and the new owners of the company changed a lot of the ingredients in there product line. They used to have no chemical composition in the Herbal hair conditioner and in there shampoo line and now there product list begin with water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cicanude DEA, Sodium c14-16 ETC. The new company owners no longer adhere to the original mission statement that the company was founded on. Also the products have had a very adverse effect on my hair and when I have used the new lines of shampoos and conditioner, people have asked me what happened to my hair. The company discontinued all the original product line and added very bad chemicals instead of the solid herb line that the company was known for. They also went up in prices. They did not give the public the option of paying higher prices to keep the same product line and ingredients.

They don't have to get the public's permission to change their formulas - you see, they own the company. If you don't like the changes, try another brand.

I agree with Hugh there is nothing else you can do about it.

The point of fustration with the company changing the formulas is that now their products are like all the other garbage on the market. I have been a customer of Nature's Gate for over twenty years, and there are no other company's out there that have products any where near as good as what they did sell. The other companys use fillers such as aloe vera and other chemicals as well. They may own the company now but they did not have to trash it.
